Hobie Getaway Catamaran

A 2005 Hobie Getaway with wing seats makes for a spacious, comfortable and FAST ride out to the sandbars. The Hobie Getaway has a maximum weight capacity of 1,000 lbs and is designed to comfortably carry 1 to 6 people. The boat has a brand new mainsail, with only a couple uses- crispy Dacron. The jib has a recently replaced window for excellent visibility while sailing. Original mainsail also included and shown in pictures. New trampolines and wing seat covers, as well as a jib snorkel round out a fantastic package. Boat is sold with cat tracks for easy transport across the lot, down the ramp or across the sand. Capacity: Well, it's marked as 150lbs. but you can see from the photos how many kids can be piled on there! Even if they were 60 lbs. each, you are looking at 420 lbs. and the boat is still floating and the sail is catching wind. Topaz sailboats are manufactured in England of hi-density polyethylene with a tri-laminated hull (two layers of HDPE sandwiching a foam layer). They are self bailing and quite literally unsinkable.
