Wilderness Systems ATAK 120 Premium Paddle Fishing Sit on Top Kayak

$1,729.00

The Wilderness Systems ATAK is a unique fishing platform offering tremendous stability in a easy to paddle kayak. Typically, there is a tradeoff for stability over performance but the seating position of the paddler on the ATAK and the boat position in the water make for a smooth, stable, good paddling kayak and the hull shape gives straight tracking.

The deck is feature-rich with gear track far forward, mid, and far stern. The stern track is ideal for visibility flags and lights or gropro mounts. There are two spaces in front of the seat. The bigger one, more forward, is for an integrated Torqueedo battery-powered kayak motor. If you choose to forgo that option, the space holds a good sized hatch that can be used to store power or any other myriad of accessories. The smaller space can be used most basically as a cupholder. However, just below it is a transducer scupper. So, the possibility exists to affix your transducer below, stash your battery in the compartment, add a mount, and put your fish finder on top. And that entire set up can be removed and stored indoors when not in use.

The seat on the ATAK has high and low positioning, can be moved fore and aft along the track, and has an adjustable backrest. Traction pads come standard and the stern tankwell is large enough for a big cooler, medium pet or small dog.
